Job Description:

Goodwin William Staffing is seeking a Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to join our team/work with one of our clients in Charlottesville, VA. This direct hire position is a hybrid remote role.

Direct Hire / Competitive Salary & Benefits Package

Annual Salary: $65,000 - $80,000


  • Maintaining and updating financial records on QuickBooks
  • Processing local vendor invoices and payments
  • Managing communications with staff and vendors
  • Overseeing payroll processes bi-weekly
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual worker's comp audit reports
  • Reconciling accounts monthly and providing details to the CPA
  • Handling bank and credit card transactions and ensuring accuracy
  • Regular communication with staff, vendors, CFO, and CPA firm


  • Handles a variety of responsibilities
  • Financial record maintenance
  • Invoice processing
  • Online banking
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Other administrative tasks
  • Comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Experience with Paychex
  • Strong communication as this position requires regular communication with staff, vendors, CFO, and CPA firm
  • Ability to work in a hybrid remote position
