Goodwin William Staffing is seeking Electrician Helpers to join our team/work with one of our clients in Charlottesville, VA. Someone to assist mechanics in proper wiring of homes and ensure quality standards are met.
Location: Charlottesville, VA
Standard Work Schedule: M-F, 6:30AM – 3:30PM
Hourly Pay: $15.00
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Read, understand, and comply with Company Policy and Safety Rules and Regulations.
• Help mechanic prepare daily work by loading van with material from list provided by mechanic.
• Develop good work habits. Work smarter not harder.
• Have proper tools and be able to use them correctly.
• Be able to identify materials and know their use.
• Assist in the maintenance, cleanliness of van and equipment.
• Learn how to hang fixtures, switch, and plug whole house.
• Assist in rough in of house, box out, pull wire, and tie in.
• Report to work everyday and be on time.
• Must work in a safe manner observing all safety rules and regulations.
• Enrollment in formal apprenticeship programs desired.
• Participation in company in-house training required.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record.
• Able to communicate and train.
• Ability to pass a drug and background check
