Excavator/Heavy Equipment Operator

Description:

• The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment to spread and grade dirt and stone, cut and fill, set structures, set and stack trench boxes, excavate for underground utility installations (storm, sewer, & waterline) to the job specifications with a primary role of excavating for underground utilities
• The ideal candidate should be able to operate excavators and heavy equipment to perform various construction tasks in a safe and proficient manner
• Locations are primarily within a 30 minute commute from Fishersville, VA, and surrounding areas
• Projects are ongoing; full-time

Hourly Rate: $20 - $25, DOE

• Ability to operate heavy equipment efficiently and safely in open and restricted areas
• Adhere to all applicable safety procedures and policies
• Transportation to and from locations
• Ability to commit to schedule
• Positive attendance
• OSHA 10 preferred
• Ability to pass background and drug screenings
• Minimum of 3 years of operating excavators preferred
