Description

Goodwin William Staffing in Culpeper is seeking a reservations supervisor for a well-known area Inn and Restaurant. Flexibility in the working schedule is a must, as the reservations department is open 365 days a year from 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. The individual should be well spoken and comfortable dealing with guest via the telephone. Professional attire is required; any tattoos must be covered and no visible body piercings. Must have reliable source of transportation to the client in Rappahannock County.

  • Initiate policies to improve collaboration between the reservations team and key departments within the property to enable the Inn to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Hire and train new Reservation agents
  • Ensure that the Reservations team is maintaining property accolades and delivering service according to Forbes 5 Star and AAA 5 Diamond service standards
  • Assist in implementing revenue generating methods to increase The Inn's bottom line year over year revenue
  • Collaborate with the Director of Revenue, Director of IT, and Special Events Manager to implement an on line event calendar on The Inn's Website
  • Assist in the implementation and ongoing management of The Inn's new dining room reservation software
  • Partner with the Director of Revenue to implement professional growth guidelines for reservation agents
  • Explore and expand options for local activities to provide guests of The Inn with leisure activity options
  • Assist with creating and distributing the Daily Report

Qualifications

  • Must have great computer skills
  • Must be able to use a multi phone system, printer, fax and scanner
  • Hospitality experience is preferred, but not essential
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must be well-groomed, well-spoken and well-presented. All visible tattoos must be covered
  • Supervisor candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in Hospitality, Front Desk or Reservations
  • Supervisory experience is preferred, but not essential
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays and be comfortable consenting to a background check.
