Truss Assemblers (2nd & 3rd Shifts)

Goodwin William Staffing in Culpeper is seeking experienced Truss Assemblers for a full-time, temp-to-hire jobs on 2nd and 3rd shifts with a building supply company in the Culpeper area. Experience with production jobs and with basic carpentry skills, including use of hand tools and power tools, is required for success. This position requires working with a team to assemble building material components, such as roof trusses. Processes include insertion or positioning of materials, clamping, splicing, and fitting parts and use of both hand and power tools, such as hammers and nail guns.

• The 2nd shift schedule is Monday-Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. with some mandatory overtime on Fridays during peak season.
• The 3rd shift schedule is from Friday to Sunday, 5:30 p.m. - 5:30 a.m.

Salary Range: $14.50-16.00 per hour (Depending on shift worked.)

• A minimum of 1-year experience working in a production assembler or manufacturing role is preferred
• Entry level candidates will also be considered
• Basic carpentry skills including use of hand tools and power tools
• Must be safety conscious and teamwork oriented
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently
• Steel toe boots, a stainless-steel tape measure, and 20-22 oz. fiberglass-handled hammer are required.
