Banquet / Event Servers (Charlottesville, VA)

Goodwin William Staffing is looking for Banquet /Event Server candidates to join our team and work with our client in Charlottesville, VA. In this position, you will serve food and beverages to guests.

Primary duties would include:

• Setting tables and buffet areas for service
• Accommodate all guests
• Replenish buffet food, refill beverages, remove used dishes
• Become a runner from kitchen to event floor
• Assist with cooking as needed
• Cleaning up after events are done
• Bussing tables

Qualifications

The ideal candidates will have Banquet / Event Server experience. Knowledge of catering and food preparation are preferred but not required. The Banquet / Event Servers will maintain excellent customer service to all guests, at all times.

The positions require the capability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. The ideal candidates must display dependability, trustworthiness, and adhere to all Goodwin William policies. Must be able to communicate willingly with site supervisors and recruiters and maintain effective professional relationships. Candidates must be comfortable working on a team on job assignment with little supervision.
