CNC Machinist w/Large HCM/VMC Experience (Hampton, VA)

Goodwin William Staffing is seeking a qualified CNC Machinist (Large HMC/VMC Experience) to join our team/work with one of our clients in the Hampton Roads, VA area. Someone with documented 5+ years’ experience successfully operating larger 3 to 4 axis horizontal and vertical milling centers, Johnford, Chevalier, SNK experience a plus.

• Must be capable to taking direction and independent thought.

• Capable of machining to close tolerances for planform dimensions, thread forms, bore diameters and other complex geometry.

• Capable of measuring and deburring produced parts.

• Familiar with set-up on variety of parts to include larger weldments. Knowledge of drawing GD&T and machine code programs for minor edits.

• Must have own tools and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour, DOE

Schedule: 8AM – 5PM, Monday – Friday

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• 3-4 Axis Horizontal and Vertical Milling Centers: 5 years (Required)

• High School or Equivalent Education
