Goodwin William Staffing is seeking experienced candidates for Event Staff Catering/Serving/Bartending to work with our client in Charlottesville, VA. The schedule and hours will vary depending on the event/assignment. The dress code for these positions will be strictly followed and will include the following: black, long-sleeved button-down dress shirt; black slacks; black belt; black shoes; and hair must be securely tied back.
Responsibilities
- Assist with prep, set up, take down, and clean up as assigned
- Provide excellent, friendly, professional service throughout the event
- Perform duties of the job, as assigned
- Maintain cleanliness and organization during and after events
- Collaborate with other event staff to ensure smooth operations
- Previous professional experience catering/serving/bartending
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be able to list/carry up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic knowledge of culinary and food industry practices is a plus
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work varying schedules, including evenings and weekends
