Goodwin William Staffing is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team/work with one of our clients in Charlottesville, VA.
- The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment to spread and grade dirt and stone, cut and fill, set structures, set and stack trench boxes, and dig for underground utility installations to the job specifications
- Operate excavator on slopes and subgrades to support high production excavation and embankment operations
- Conduct equipment inspections and complete maintenance inspection reports
- Locations are within a 30-minute commute from Charlottesville and surrounding areas
- Projects are ongoing; full-time
Typical Work Schedule: M-F, 7AM - 5PM
Position: Full-time, Temp-to-perm
Salary Range: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour, DOE

- Ability to operate heavy equipment efficiently and safely in open and restricted areas
- Adhere to all applicable safety procedures and policies
- Ability to commit to schedule
- Heavy Equipment GPS experience a plus
- 3+ years of experience preferred (2+ operating excavators)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
