Executive Administrative and HR Experience is required for this position.

Goodwin William Staffing is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant/HR Admin for a direct hire position with our client in Fairfield, Va. Candidates must have Executive Assistant and Human Resources experience to be considered. This person in this position will support the Chief Financial Officer and also work in Human Resources. The position will be based in Fairfield with some office work in the client's Waynesboro office.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Human Resources Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting a variety of business administration activities, with a primary focus on human resources and employee benefits management. This is a hands-on position responsible for assisting with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, performance reviews, and employee relations. Additionally, the role supports payroll processes, workforce planning, and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Manager across a wide range of HR functions.
  • Communicate and reinforce company policies and procedures to employees.
  • Organize, maintain, and update personnel files and HR databases.
  • Actively support the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and employee evaluation processes.
  • Coordinate with external staffing agencies to fulfill production staffing needs.
  • Develop employee training materials, coordinate training sessions, and maintain training records.
  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - 45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Must have Executive Assistant and Human Resources experience to be considered.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in human resources, employee benefits, or a related administrative role.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
