Installers (Blacksburg, VA)

Installers (Blacksburg, VA): April 14th Start until end of 2025. Possibly longer.

Goodwin William Staffing is seeking candidates for Installers to work with our client in Blacksburg, Virginia.

Must have electrical experience. Electricians license preferred.

Hours are generally 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Thursday.

This position is paying $25 per hour for this role; possibly more if licensed. Willing to pay between $32-36 per hour for Journeyman.

Job Type: Full-time; Temp to Hire.

Job description is as follows:

• Install lighting fixtures

• Help maintain a clean jobsite by removing old existing light fixtures

• Basic understanding of commercial electrical systems a plus but not required.

• Must be comfortable working on scaffolding and various types of lifts

• OSHA 30 preferred but company will train.‍‍

‍Requirements:

Installers must be able and willing to work from a scissor lift.

An understanding of safety protocols and procedures with lift and electricity is a must.

Candidates must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to the job site.

Travel is required from Charlottesville and Richmond. Hotel is paid for when on the job and away from home. $40 per day per diem.
