Goodwin William Staffing is seeking LANDSCAPE / LAWNCARE WORKERS to join our team and work with our client on commercial property jobs, in Central Virginia. This position is year round, temporary to permanent, Monday - Friday; 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
$20 to $25 per hour based on experience.
This is for commercial properties. Drug test is required.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
- Identifying a landscape’s maintenance needs and crafting a plan to address them
- Mowing, seeding and fertilizing lawns
- Trimming hedges and trees
- Pruning flowers and garden beds
- Applying pesticides and weed-preventing treatments
- Using and maintaining lawn care equipment
- Interacting with clients to understand and discuss their lawn care needs
- Ensuring a landscape maintains health and aesthetic appeal
EXPERIENCE SHOULD INCLUDE
- Working outside
- Lawncare work experience preferred
- Working with power equipment; lawnmowers, weed eaters, trimmers, mulching, etc.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to meet at specified a central location and ride with crew to job sites.
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE
- Must have daily, reliable transportation to Afton, Va. and be able to meet at a specified central location and ride with crew to job sites.
- Must have/wear industrial commercial steel toe footwear
- Must have or be able to pass OSHA 10 certification
- Must pass background test
- Must pass drug test
- Must be reliable and dependable
