Laundry Attendant (Virginia Beach, Va)

Goodwin William Staffing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team and work with our client in Virginia Beach, Va. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry services are performed efficiently and to the highest standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Process laundry according to established procedures.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Notify appropriate person when laundry supplies are low.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.

Requirements

• Previous commercial laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with laundering techniques including dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
