Goodwin William Staffing is looking for a Material Handler (Receiving) to join our team/work with one of our clients in Gordonsville, Va. The position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. with the possibility of overtime.
Miscellaneous Duties of All General Warehouse Employees:
- Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Conducts operations in a manner which promotes safety.
- Enforces established safety, health, and housekeeping policies and procedures in order to minimize injuries, loss of production time, and damage.
- Conforms to all company policies and procedures (Employee Handbook).
- Complies with all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
Hourly Rate: $13.50 per hour
Available Shifts:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with possibility of overtime.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Looks up locations and retrieves order status information.
- Removes shrink-wrap from pallets in preparation for them to be located in the racks.
- Sorts books and breaks down assortments of books.
- Loads the induction line.
- Operates the Cubi-Scan to dimension size the book and carton (length, width, height, weight).
