Prep Cooks; Mon - Fri; 9am - 3 pm (See dress code)

Goodwin William Staffing is looking for Prep Cooks to join our team/work with one of our clients in Newport News, VA. The schedule is Mon - Fri from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Start date; August 12th or August 13th, depending on the job/work schedule.

Dress code; Black pants (no leggings), black slip resistant shoes, and white collared shirt. No facial hair, no tattoos that cannot be covered by a sleeve or such, and no facial piercings unless they can be removed when on-site.

Parking; Temporary parking permit issued on site.

Job Description:

• Be able to serve under the direction of the cook staff and maintain a sanitary environment.
• Perform production regarding culinary needs such as frying, baking, cutting, etc. Additional duties may include stocking, dish room operation, moping, etc.

Hourly Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour

Requirements:

• Must be able to read and comprehend recipes and understand kitchen equipment.
