Production Worker

Goodwin William Staffing is seeking Production Workers to join our team and work with one of our clients in Charlottesville, VA. The ideal candidate for a Production Worker job has a high level of dexterity and attention to detail, as well as good communication and teamwork skills. You must also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to work well in a group.

As a Production Worker, your primary responsibility will be:

• To assemble products on an assembly line or in a factory setting.
• Work on a team with other Production Workers and follow specific instructions from a supervisor or manager.
• Inspect and test products to ensure they meet quality control standards, and package finished products to be shipped to customers.

Other Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble, package, or move products on a production line in a timely and efficient manner.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment while operating machinery or handling chemicals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and report any defects or issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular cleaning of equipment and tools.
• Meet daily production goals by accurately recording and reporting production numbers and completing tasks on time.
• Attend training sessions and continuously improve skills to increase job performance and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation of the production line.
• Understand and follow written and verbal instructions related to job duties and safety guidelines.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment, such as hand or power tools, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
• Participate in problem-solving and process improvement activities to increase productivity and quality of products.
