Job Description:

Goodwin William Staffing is seeking Public Area Attendants to join our team/work with one of our clients in Charlottesville, VA. Individuals will be responsible for ensuring that the cleanliness standards are maintained on a consistent basis and provides the highest-level service for optimal guest satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Keep the locker room, restaurant, and pool-area bathrooms clean.
  • Sweep, mop and vacuum all public areas.
  • Clean elevator door and vacuum constantly.
  • Clean windows.
  • Vacuum all halls in the hotel area.
  • Clean dust on all public areas.
  • Ensure all blinds are free of dust and debris.
  • Clean all marrows, picture frames, lamps, and baseboards
  • Take out trash from all areas in the hotel.

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE WE'RE SEEKING:

  • High School Diploma is preferred.
  • 1-year of experience in customer service or similar position.
  • Basic writing skills, professional communications skills.
  • Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

SCHEDULE: 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday - Friday

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma is preferred. 1-year of experience in customer service or similar position.

Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to bend, crouch, kneel, reach, twist, stretch, push, pull, stand, see, and hear. The employee is frequently required to squat, handle (hold, grasp, turn, or otherwise work with the hand or hands), finger (picking, pinching, fine manipulation), walk, and speak. The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move 10-25lbs and minimally move up to 50lbs.

Mental Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to produce detailed work, use verbal communication, have customer contact, and handle multiple concurrent tasks. The employee is occasionally required to use reasoning skills and handle constant interruptions. The employee is minimally required to use math and written communication.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be occasionally exposed to heat, odor, fumes, dirt, dampness, noise, vibrations, and use of tools/equipment.
