Goodwin William Staffing is seeking a dedicated, dependable, and versatile Utility Worker to join our team and work with our client in Virginia Beach. A Utility Worker is responsible for ensuring buildings and the areas surrounding them are clean, well-lit, functional and safe. To this end, a Utility Worker job description may include the following duties:

• Reading work orders and developing plans to execute them
• Replacing light bulbs and making repairs to light fixtures
• Maintaining landscaping, lawns, outbuildings, parking areas and fencing
• Making basic repairs to plumbing, HVAC and structural problems
• Conducting routine maintenance on building systems, such as replacing filters in HVAC systems
• Servicing and cleaning tools and equipment used for maintenance
• Updating and keeping records of all work orders completed

Pay is $14 per hour

Hours are 8 to 4:30 Monday – Friday and weekends as needed.
